"All of my questions were answered in a helpful way…"
—Arvid J. | Colorado Springs HomeownerAll the employees were cheerful, friendly, courteous, and seemed to enjoy their job. All my questions were answered in a helpful way. The estimator, William, did a very thorough job, measuring the entire house and spending time analyzing the data. Compared to another company, the difference was stark and his careful work cinched the job for your company. Your price on the job was reasonable. I would definitely recommend your company to others, just as others have recommended your company to me.
Furnace installation cost factors
The system's size
BTU output is a measure of how much heat your furnace provides in an hour. The higher the BTU output the more square space a furnace can heat, and the more expensive it is to buy. BTU is calculated to match your home's specific heating needs. We can calculate that for you during our free estimate visit.
The system's efficiency levels
Furnace efficiency levels are measured by their AFUE rating. Depending on the fuel type, a furnace can have an AFUE rating that varies from 80% to 100%. The higher the efficiency rating, the higher the upfront cost to install the furnace. However, higher AFUE ratings come with lower energy bills, which is great for your wallet in the long term.
Comfort features & add-ons
The more comfort features a furnace has (i.e. modulating burners, noise-reducing components, etc), the more expensive it typically costs. Additionally, if you choose to install "add-ons", such as humidifiers, air purifiers, etc, this will raise the cost of the installation.
Ductwork modifications
If your current ductwork is leaky or needs extensive repairs, this will raise the cost of the installation.
