January 2026 Employee of the Month: Jordan Ekblad

For January 2026, we’re proud to recognize Jordan Ekblad, one of our outstanding Maintenance Technicians, as Employee of the Month.
From Installation to Maintenance Excellence
Jordan joined Cooper Heating & Cooling in August 2025, starting on our installation team while attending Lincoln Tech. After graduating in December 2025, Jordan continued to grow with Cooper, eventually transitioning into a maintenance role so he could spend more time working directly with homeowners.
That move has proven to be a great fit. Jordan takes pride in building trust with customers, helping them understand their systems, and ensuring their homes stay comfortable and safe year-round.
A Commitment to Service — At Work and Beyond
Before joining Cooper, Jordan served for over three years in the U.S. Army and continues to serve in the Army Reserve today. That background shows in his strong work ethic, reliability, and leadership mindset — qualities that make him a valuable part of our maintenance team.
Originally from Chicago, Jordan made Colorado home after meeting his wife in Denver. When he’s not helping customers or supporting his team, you’ll likely find him enjoying time with his wife and friends, camping, gaming, playing softball, or bowling. He’s also a dedicated history buff, with a special interest in World War II documentaries.

Jordan’s positive attitude and steady growth have not gone unnoticed. His manager shared:
