Tell us what you are experiencing or what you want to install, and we can help schedule the appropriate electrical service.
Cooper hires exceptional electrical professionals with decades of experience. If anyone can resolve your issue, it's the Cooper Green Team. Call our office today, and we'll let you know how we can help resolve your electrical issue.
"Our electrician came out promptly on a Sunday, a Sunday!"
—Randy W. | Colorado HomeownerKevin, our electrician, came out promptly on a Sunday, a Sunday! He got right to work and fixed the problem at hand. He then took a look at some other electrical concerns we had and fixed some other necessary things in addition to answering all of our questions. He also did his best to keep our costs low. We paid less than expected given that it was on a Sunday. He was absolutely awesome!!! I would highly recommend him and Cooper Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical for any of your professional needs. Not very many companies are open on a weekend and have professionals promptly available for emergency service calls like ours. Kevin and this company are truly a godsend!!!
Your Cooper Green Team provides electrical repair, installation, and upgrades throughout Denver and the surrounding metro area.
Services include electrical panels and circuit breakers, wiring and rewiring, outlets and switches, indoor and outdoor lighting, ceiling fans, EV chargers, surge protection, generators, smart panels, solar, battery storage, and electrical work for home upgrades.
Repeated breaker trips, flickering lights, warm or discolored outlets, buzzing electrical equipment, burning odors, sparking, unexplained power loss, or outlets that regularly stop working are reasons to have the electrical system evaluated.
You should also consult an electrician when adding major equipment such as an EV charger, heat pump, hot tub, electric appliance, solar system, or home battery.
A panel may need evaluation if it is damaged, has limited capacity, frequently trips breakers, contains obsolete equipment, or cannot support planned electrical additions.
Age alone does not automatically mean replacement is required. A licensed electrician should evaluate the condition of the panel and the home's electrical demand before recommending an upgrade.
Not necessarily.
Electrical service size is only one part of the decision. A licensed electrician can calculate the home's existing electrical demand and compare it with the new equipment requirements.
Some homes can add new electrical loads without a service upgrade, while others may require load management, panel changes, or additional capacity.
Many electrical installations and upgrades require permits.
Denver currently allows qualifying residential projects such as panel and subpanel replacement, rewiring, EV chargers, GFCI outlets, ceiling fans, lighting, receptacles, and certain solar installations to use its electrical quick-permit process when applicable requirements are met.
More complex projects may require additional review.
A breaker may trip because a circuit is overloaded, an appliance has developed a fault, wiring is damaged, a connection is loose, or another electrical problem is present.
If the same breaker repeatedly trips, have the circuit evaluated instead of continuously resetting it.
Whole-home surge protection can provide another layer of protection for appliances, HVAC systems, electronics, and other connected equipment.
It does not guarantee protection from every electrical event and should be combined with proper grounding and appropriate protection for particularly sensitive electronics.
The better option depends on what you want to power and how long you want backup electricity to last.
A generator produces electricity while an appropriate fuel supply is available. A battery stores a limited amount of electricity but can operate quietly and integrate with solar and energy-management systems.
Some Denver-area homeowners may benefit from using both technologies as part of a larger backup-power strategy.
