Rooter Services in Denver and Colorado’s Front Range

Drain Clearing, Sewer Cleaning, Hydro Jetting, and Sewer Line Repair

One slow drain may be a problem near the fixture. Several drains backing up at once may indicate a blockage deeper in your plumbing or main sewer line.

Your Cooper Green Team provides professional rooter services for homes and businesses throughout Denver, the surrounding metro area, and Colorado’s Front Range. Our licensed plumbers clear stubborn drain and sewer blockages, inspect recurring problems, remove buildup, and repair damaged sewer lines when cleaning alone is not enough.

Depending on what is causing the problem, your service may include drain snaking, mainline rooter cleaning, hydro jetting, a sewer camera inspection, root removal, spot repair, or trenchless sewer rehabilitation.

We do not assume that every slow drain needs the most expensive solution. Our plumbers first determine where the blockage is located and what may be causing it. We then explain the available options and provide upfront pricing before beginning the work.

Our Rooter Plumbing Process

  • Schedule Your Appointment

If you're experiencing drains backing up in various areas of your home or noticing flooding in your front or backyard, contact the Cooper Green Team. Call us at (720) 605-7270 or use our user-friendly online scheduling form. We'll dispatch a highly skilled plumber to perform an expert diagnostic at your home.

  • Locate the Affected Line

Our plumber will ask questions, inspect the affected fixtures, and test the plumbing as appropriate. We determine whether the problem appears to be near one fixture, within a branch drain, or inside the main sewer line.

  • Explain the Recommended Service

Once we understand the problem, we explain the recommended cleaning or diagnostic method. You will receive upfront pricing before approving the work. If another issue becomes visible after the blockage is cleared, we will review it with you before recommending additional service.

  • Clear or Clean the Line

Depending on the pipe and obstruction, we may use mechanical rooter equipment, drain snaking, hydro jetting, or another professional cleaning method. Our goal is to restore proper flow without recommending unnecessary work.

  • Inspect the Line When Appropriate

A camera inspection may be recommended if the blockage is recurring, roots are present, the pipe appears damaged, or a sewer repair is being considered. We will explain what can be seen and whether the line needs repair, maintenance, or no additional work at that time.

  • Test the Plumbing and Clean the Work Area

After service, we test the affected fixtures or line to confirm that water is draining properly. Our team removes its equipment, cleans the immediate work area, and explains any maintenance or repair recommendations.

Trenchless mainline and drain repair cost factors:

Severity of the Clog or Damage

Simple drain cleaning is more affordable, while significant sewer line repairs or replacements will cost more.

Type of Service Required

Hydrojetting and trenchless sewer repairs require specialized equipment, which may affect pricing compared to standard snaking or cleaning.

Accessibility of the Pipes

Labor costs may increase if pipes are difficult to reach or require excavation. Trenchless solutions can help reduce costs by minimizing disruption.

Rooter FAQs

Rooter service clears blockages from drains and sewer lines using professional mechanical cleaning equipment or other appropriate methods.

Modern rooter service may also include hydro jetting, tree-root removal, video camera inspection, main sewer-line cleaning, and recommendations for damaged-pipe repair.

Rooter service is a type of professional drain and sewer cleaning. The term is often associated with larger or more difficult blockages, including obstructions in a home’s main sewer line.

Drain cleaning can also refer to a localized clog in a sink, shower, tub, toilet, or smaller branch line.

A drain clog generally affects one fixture or a small group of nearby fixtures.

A main sewer-line clog may affect several parts of the home at once. Warning signs include multiple slow drains, toilets that gurgle, water backing up into tubs or floor drains, and wastewater appearing when another fixture is used.

Call a rooter plumber when a drain does not respond to basic measures, multiple fixtures are backing up, a clog repeatedly returns, sewage odors are present, tree roots are suspected, or wastewater is entering the home.

Yes. Stop using the plumbing system and keep people and pets away from the affected area.

Wastewater can contain harmful contaminants and may damage flooring, walls, furniture, and personal belongings. Avoid using electrical devices near standing water and arrange professional service promptly.

Multiple backups often indicate a blockage in a shared branch drain or the main sewer line.

Continuing to use water can send more wastewater toward the obstruction, causing it to appear at the lowest available drain.

The toilet and nearby fixture may share part of the same drainage system. If air and wastewater cannot move normally through the pipe, flushing the toilet can cause bubbles or gurgling at another fixture.

This can be an early sign of a drain or sewer blockage.

Common causes include tree roots, grease, accumulated waste, wipes, foreign objects, scale, damaged pipes, separated joints, corrosion, and sections of pipe that have lost their proper slope.

A camera inspection may be needed to identify why the blockage occurred.

Yes. Roots can enter through cracks, damaged joints, loose connections, or other openings in the pipe.

Rooter equipment may cut and remove the immediate growth, but the roots can return if the opening remains. A camera inspection can help determine whether repair is appropriate.

Not by itself. Root cutting restores flow but does not repair the damaged pipe or joint where the roots entered.

Some properties use scheduled cleaning to manage recurring growth, while others choose spot repair, trenchless rehabilitation, or pipe replacement.

Drain snaking uses a rotating cable and attachment to break through or retrieve a blockage.

Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to remove certain types of buildup from the inner pipe walls. Hydro jetting may provide more thorough cleaning for grease, sludge, and soft buildup, but it is not suitable for every pipe.

It depends on the pipe’s material and condition. A weakened, severely corroded, cracked, or collapsed line may not be a good candidate.

The plumbing system should be evaluated before hydro jetting is used on an older or questionable sewer line.

A camera inspection may be recommended when blockages recur, several drains are affected, roots are removed, the location of the problem is unclear, or a major sewer repair is being considered.

It can help identify damage and reduce unnecessary excavation.

No. A camera can show many visible conditions, but it cannot always travel through a complete blockage or confirm every type of leak.

The line may need to be cleaned before a complete inspection can be performed.

The initial service may have opened a path without removing all the buildup, or the pipe may have a recurring structural problem.

Grease, roots, damaged joints, corrosion, poor slope, or an object lodged in the line can all cause repeated blockages.

Most consumer chemical drain cleaners are intended for certain localized clogs and generally will not resolve a main sewer-line obstruction, roots, damaged pipe, or a large object.

Chemicals may also remain in standing water and create a hazard for the homeowner or plumber. Tell the technician if you have already used a chemical product.

Products marketed as flushable may not break down as quickly as toilet paper. They can collect in pipes, combine with grease and other debris, and contribute to drain or sewer blockages.

Placing wipes in the trash is generally safer for the plumbing system.

Keep fats, oils, and grease out of the drain. Allow grease to cool and place it in an appropriate container for disposal.

Use sink strainers, remove food scraps before washing dishes, and avoid sending fibrous or expandable foods into a garbage disposal.

No. One slow fixture is more likely to have a localized blockage, fixture problem, or nearby branch-line issue.

If several drains slow down together, the problem may be deeper in the plumbing system.

The City and County of Denver states that the private sewer service lateral is the property owner’s responsibility up to and including its connection to the public main.

Responsibility in other cities or special districts may differ, so the applicable local utility or municipality should be consulted.

Some sewer repairs, connections, trenchless rehabilitation projects, and work affecting the public right-of-way may require permits, inspections, utility locating, or additional documentation.

The requirements depend on the location and scope of work.

Trenchless sewer repair rehabilitates certain damaged sewer pipes while limiting the amount of open excavation required.

One method may place a new liner within an existing pipe. Eligibility depends on the pipe’s condition, access, alignment, slope, and type of damage.

No. Severely collapsed pipes, major alignment problems, improper slope, inaccessible connections, and some types of damage may require conventional excavation.

A sewer camera inspection and site evaluation are needed before recommending a method.

Yes. Your Cooper Green Team offers 24/7 service availability for urgent drain and sewer problems throughout Denver and the surrounding Front Range.
