April 2025 Employee of the Month: Liz Ver Steegt

We’re excited to announce Liz Ver Steegt as our April Employee of the Month at Cooper Heating & Cooling!

Liz is key to our success, serving as our Accounts Receivable Administrator. Every day, she plays a critical role in keeping operations running smoothly by taking payments from customers and third-party partners with accuracy, efficiency, and a smile.

Liz’s journey with Cooper began in August 2020 when she joined as a Customer Service Representative (CSR). Her strong work ethic and desire to grow quickly stood out. She was promoted first to Lead CSR and then to Lead Dispatcher, demonstrating incredible adaptability and leadership along the way.

Driven to expand her skills further, Liz transitioned into her current role in Accounts Receivable, where she mastered the ServiceTitan software and refined her spreadsheet skills. This demonstrated her ability to take on new challenges and consistently continue learning.

One of the things Liz appreciates most about Cooper is being part of a family-owned business. She values the personal touch, strong teamwork, and opportunities for continued professional growth. Plus, she thrives on staying busy and learning something new every day!

When Liz isn’t working hard behind the scenes at Cooper, she enjoys spending time outdoors, riding motorcycles, and spending quality time with her kids.
