For September 2025, we’re proud to recognize Dominic Anselmo as our Employee of the Month!
From Psychology Graduate to HVAC Professional
Dominic’s journey into the HVAC industry is inspiring. He attended Western Colorado University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After graduation, he realized his career path wasn’t bringing him the fulfillment he wanted. That’s when he decided to take a leap and give HVAC a try.
In March 2025, Dominic graduated from the Leonardi HVAC Training Center, gaining the technical skills needed to launch his new career. Just one month later, in April 2025, he officially joined the Cooper Green Team.
Rapid Growth at Cooper Green Team
Since joining Cooper, Dominic has proven himself to be a fast learner and a natural leader. He has already risen through the ranks from apprentice to Lead in Training on our Install Team — an impressive accomplishment in such a short time.
When asked why he enjoys working at Cooper, Dominic credits the supportive leadership team and the learning-focused environment that allows him to grow his skills every day. He also loves HVAC because it gives him the chance to solve problems and make homes more comfortable for Colorado families.
His manager shared, “Dominic started with Cooper in April and has already advanced in the leveling structure from an apprentice to a lead in training because of his hard work. We’re glad he is a part of our team and look forward to seeing him advance more.”
Life Beyond HVAC
When Dominic isn’t helping homeowners improve their comfort and efficiency, you can find him outdoors playing in the mountains or at live music shows — especially if it’s an EDM concert. His passion for adventure and creativity shines through both on and off the job.
