How much does a heat pump replacement cost in Denver?

Low price:$8,482

Our avg price:$10,842

High price:$18,552

Why are our prices slightly higher?

The team at Cooper is very particular about the quality of heat pumps we purchase and install for our customers. We're also particular about how we install them. We install better systems and spend extra time ensuring they've been installed right. That increases the cost of the installation a bit. But in turn, it lowers our customer's energy bills and reduces the city's environmental footprint. That's a win for us, for our customers, and for Denver.

Heat pump installation cost factors:

The heat pump's size

Heat pump size is measured in tonnage. And tonnage affects how much warm and cold air a system can output per hour. For the most part, a unit's size is influenced by home size, layout, and construction. That means the homeowner won't have much control over this price factor.

The system's efficiency levels

Heat pump efficiency levels are measured by two different ratings: SEER (for cooling) and HSPF (for heating). The higher the efficiency rating, the higher the upfront cost to install the heat pump. But it also means lower energy bills throughout the year.

Ductwork modifications

If your current ductwork is leaky or needs extensive repairs, this will raise the cost of the installation. Cooper always assesses your home's ductwork before installing a new system.

"They made this entire experience worthwhile."

From the moment I met Justin, the Comfort Coordinator for Cooper Heating and Plumbing, I knew we were dealing with a quality organization. He was on time, knowledgeable, professional, and very aware of our needs. But the greatest highlight came when Dan and his wonderful team arrived to install our entire HVAC system. They arrived on time and went right to work, completing the work expeditiously and with great care. They were willing to answer all of our questions and walked us through the entire system as it came time. They made this entire experience very worthwhile. Another important piece was how the office staff worked with us. They were magnificent. It is apparent to us that we will use this company for yearly maintenance. We recommend them very highly and thank them for their professionalism.
